Best Jamaican food in the city.... I drive 40 minutes just to get their food ... the curry chicken, oxtails and the jerk chicken... all a hit and don't forget the brown sugar sweat tea and lemonade

The Curry Shrimp had a very good taste to it. The Curry wasn't over powering, and blended very will with the cabbage. I also liked how the curry had a Subtle heat to it. The cabbage and planteen was also prepared nicely. No issues with this dish. It had the right price, and the right portions. Please be mindful of your environment when visiting this wonderful please to buy authentic Caribbean food.

We stopped by for seven dinners on a Saturday afternoon and were so glad we chose Hummingbird! The food was delicious, prepared quickly and enjoyed by all! The meals were flavorful and servings were generous. Will definitely be back the next trip to MD!

Hit and miss at times her patties are good but the food isn't consistent and that's the only problem. I had the red pea soup and realized that's why they constantly make chicken soup wasn't good and the ox tails which I love from here the last time I had it was just ok when usually it's really good. Still a good place just needs to be more. So today I got
A goat roti!!!!! Wow!!!! Sooo good taste like a trini made the roti skin! It was sooo good and flavorful!! I always said that Jamaicans don't know how to make roti but this was out of this world and great!!!! She doesn't even need the cabbage and the plantain it was that good. Only thing I would suggest is to do a combo with curry and even oxtail believe or not my aunt put me on in Brooklyn NYC and it was really good!!!! -

Best jamaican food in Baltimore! I travel across town for my fix of the stew beef. You can not go wrong with any of the selections. So do yourself a favor and check out Hummingbird and prepare to be delighted.
